Nextflow Ambassador Founder of Genobit PhD candidate · Unicentro
I am a Biomedical Scientist specialized in microbiology and molecular biology, currently a PhD candidate in Pharmaceutical Sciences at Unicentro (Brazil) and enrolled in an MBA in Data Science & Analytics at USP/Esalq. I currently hold a TT5 position (Technical Training, level 5) in Bioinformatics at the Laboratory of Ontogeny and Epigenetics, Department of Pharmacy, Federal University of São Paulo (Unifesp). I have also taught clinical immunology, clinical bacteriology and clinical biochemistry at Centro Universitário Uniguairacá.
My research and technical work focus on bioinformatics, computational biology and genomics. I am especially interested in building and optimizing scalable workflows for complex biological data, and in developing pipelines for tumor genomics and variant calling.
I am the founder of Genobit, a startup providing computational solutions for biological data, and a Nextflow Ambassador, helping the community adopt this essential tool for reproducible bioinformatics.
